QUEST FOR KIDS IN TIROL ALPS

We were in the Tirol Alps this week and it rained. We decided to take the lift anyway (at least it didn’t rain there 🤪).

At the ticket office, apart from tickets, we got tasks to pass a kids quest. And it just changed our day, which started dull and dreary. The whole adventure is telling the story of a local hero – WIDI, the lovely mountain sheep. WIDI and his friends are looking for a treasure – magical mountain crystal. Our kids were running around gathering the clues and having fun.

At an altitude of 2020 m above the see level there is a large (around 3000 m²) well organized area for young explorers. 36 play and puzzle stations with slides and tunnels, water and sand. The most we liked the tower for launching wooden balls (one ball for 2 euros). You can launch it as many times as you want. In the panoramic restaurant you can exchange the correct answers for real mountain crystals or other toys such as wooden yo-yo. We didn’t enjoy the view from the restaurant (the clouds were low), however the food is quite good.

Nearby, horses and sheep are walking on free grazing. They are not afraid of people, you can come and pet them. We can definitely recommend families with preschoolers or schoolchildren this place in the Alps – Widiversum.

Discounts and lift free rides could be provided by regional discount card. Ask in your hotel, sometimes it is provided depending on your stay duration.
